Sintered Metal Mesh Filter Cartridges
Sintered metal mesh filter cartridges are cylindrical filter elements made of sintered wire mesh. Most of these filter elements use the standard 5-layer sintered wire mesh type A as the filter medium. Type B full square weave sintered wire mesh is also used for filter elements that require high permeability and high flow.
Advantages of sintered metal mesh filter cartridges compared to wire mesh filters
Compared with non-metallic and ordinary wire mesh filter elements, sintered metal mesh filter cartridges have advantages in the following aspects:
- Fixed and stable pore size under high temperature and pressure
- Suitable for temperature applications above 300 degrees Celsius
- Washable and reusable
- Fully welded structure, no risk of spot welding or adhesive failure
- Self-supporting, easy to form cartridges

Since the mechanism of sintered wire mesh is to block and suppress impurities in the working fluid, there is a possibility that impurities will accumulate and form a filter cake. The filter cake can improve the filtration accuracy to a certain extent before cleaning or removing the filter cake by backwashing or offline cleaning.
Sintered metal mesh filter cartridges are suitable for micron-level filtration and separation applications. Such as particle candle filters for chemical, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, petrochemical; food and beverage, fuel, hydraulic filters.

FAQ's
There are many ways to keep you going. Maintenance is crucial for industrial water filters to achieve sufficient filtration and long-term use. To avoid being shut down, you must clean and replace your filter element according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Plan to regularly inspect the internal screen components.
- Arrange regular inspections of electronic control systems.
- Arrange to regularly add lubricating grease to bolts and sealing components.
- Regularly inspect the filter housing for paint peeling off..
Many industrial water filters need to be replaced within 18 months. Usually depends on the degree of pollution and frequency of use. Therefore, these factors will determine the service life of commercial water filters.
